For the real-time assessment of the health and safety of workers in conditions of high thermal stress, portable systems are not normally equipped with all the features required for long-term permanent monitoring.we have developed a system suitable for large industrial plants where it is necessary to permanently monitor the conditions of instantaneous thermal stress in a large number of positions. The system consists of a number of Satellite radio modules, for the measurement of air temperature, relative humidity, radiant temperature, wet temperature. They calculate a number of heat stress indices, including the WBGT according to the ISO7243 standard. Each module transmits data via radio to a Master data log-ger which sends information in real time to a control room, produces alarms via sms, e-mail, connects to local alarm systems, as well as sends the data to Scada systems via Modbus RTU / TCP protocol.
