This sensor represents the optimal solution for determining volumetric moisture within soils and various other porous materials. It employs TDR technology (Time Domain Reflectometry), which guarantees high accuracy even in very moist soils, and generally requires no special calibration for mineral soils.

With its integrated rods, the sensor can be either inserted 11 cm into the material or completely buried beneath the soil surface.
