Net radiometer (Thermal Flow)

Sensor for measuring the radiant heat flow.

Categories: ,

Description

This net radiometer is specifically engineered for environments characterized by low air velocities, where it can yield a measurement closely approximating the planar average radiant temperature, along with the direction of heat flow. The embedded air temperature sensor enables the computation of the planar radiant asymmetry value across all three axes.

It is suitable for portable use or can be mounted on a stand for longer measurement durations.

  • A sensor for assessing the radiant heat flow between two opposing surfaces of a flat element;

  • Features an integrated temperature sensor for deriving Planar Radiant Asymmetry;

  • When linked to an M/R-Log device, it allows for the acquisition of various parameters related to radiant asymmetry and the localized discomfort index, as detailed in the ISO7726 and ISO7730 standards;

  • Facilitates the measurement of Planar Radiant Asymmetry across the three spatial axes;

  • Exhibits a rapid response time;

  • Model codes: PRRDA0110 and PRRDA0111.
