Visibility

Sensors for Visibility and Present Weather Measurement

A diverse array of visibility sensors is offered, specifically designed for monitoring conditions on roads and within tunnels.

Models are available with an expansive measuring range to detect fog and haze. Options include both digital and analog outputs, as well as relays for activating external equipment. These are designed for integration into intelligent transport systems, enabling automatic switching of warning signals as visibility conditions change.

Description

Sensors for measuring visibility and present weather

All available models also function as “Present weather” sensors, meaning they can quantify precipitation intensity by analyzing water particles, identifying them as fog, rain, snow, or a mixed form.
