Wind direction – Standard type

Sensors designed for measurement in any environmental condition

Wind direction sensors with analogue output.

A diverse selection of wind direction sensors is offered, featuring both moving and ultrasonic components, and capable of operating even in extreme conditions. These sensors are suitable for connection with LSI Lastem data loggers or for integration into third-party systems.

Description

These sensors are perfectly suited when integration with third-party acquisition systems is a requirement. With their 0-1 V output, these models are also an excellent choice for connection to LSI LASTEM acquisition systems.

Their low delay path and precision encoder make these sensors highly effective for speed measurements, even at low wind speeds.

Models equipped with heaters are available to prevent ice accumulation on the sensor body in extremely cold environments.

  • Analog outputs: 0-1/5 V, 0/4-20 mA;
  • Excellent values for Delay Distance and Damping ratio, in compliance with VDI3786 and ASTM 5096-96 standards;
  • Heated version available for cold climates;
  • Constructed entirely from anodized aluminum, ensuring extended durability and high protection against severe weather conditions and strong winds;
  • Features protected bearings to prevent water and debris from entering their chamber. This eliminates the need for bearing replacement throughout the sensor’s lifespan;
  • Model codes: DNA810, DNA811, DNA310.1, DNA311.1.
